Yes, this post is kinda related to the Hello Mother post. For one, my hubby plays crazy music that reflects his sense of humor. Look up Camp Granada if you wish.
He is the teacher of our children. I have to say he is doing a pretty good job too. How does he do it?
He instills in our children the desire to read. TV is not promoted. Good old fashioned creativity and playing is. Everyday someone or all of us read to our youngest two girls. They have already come to find books better than toys. They get to cuddle up as one of us reads to them. It truly is a joy when they are little. As they age, reading can unlock their futures.
So as a way of saying thanks for all he does, he got a Bag O’ Books about being a Daddy. He isn’t a newbie at being a Daddy but the books are very supportive of him in his role. I know he finds it a bit humbling to read something that pays respect to being a father. It is something that just has to be said to someone who is so willing to give of himself to be the best Dad he can be.
I am certain many of you out there have hubbies that are equally good fathers and Dads. If the kids are young, the Bag O’ Books is a good way to say thank you and give him a thumbs up.
