Who am I? I am a working Mom with 3 lovely daughters. I hold 2 jobs to bring in the income so that my hubby can raise the kids. Is it ideal? No, it is what it is. I can’t complain.
The reason I can’t complain is my mother showed me how to love and sacrifice for your children. She worked for well over 20 years overseas away from us so that she could provide for our needs. No, I didn’t have my Mom available to kiss my booboos and teach me how to do things. But she never stopped teaching us how to be respectful and how to work hard.
At the home front, my husband never stops teaching the children to cherish every moment they have with me. When I’m around, they are all over me treating me as if I’m the most special person in the world. It truly is what keeps me going.
I wish I had more time to spend with them. But at least I can spend some time with my kids unlike what my mother had to do.
So I received a special something that tugs at my heart. It is a Heart 2 Heart necklace that bears with it many special meanings for me. The necklace is a physical reminder of how close my three children are to my heart. Not only that, but it serves me to be a constant reminder of how close my mother is to my heart and the life lessons she has never stopped imparting to me.
Thank you Mom. Thank you Hubby. Thank you my kids.
Perhaps we all have someone else we can say thanks to in a similar way.
